Online Training

Are you interested in learning more about Spirit Play? Do you want to attend a Spirit Play teacher training but one isn’t near you? Are you a new Spirit Play teacher who hasn’t been able to attend a live training?

We have an online course that will teach you how to be a Spirit Play teacher on YOUR time.

We’ll teach you where Spirit Play comes from, how to teach a Spirit Play class, and introduce you to some of the stories we tell. The training will cover:

• Introduction to and origins of the Montessori approach and Spirit Play
• How to teach a Spirit Play class including practice scenarios
• How to start and maintain a Spirit Play program at your church

Training is important in Spirit Play to ensure that your program begins and continues using the most of its resources and volunteers. Volunteers value their training as a sign that the church supports them in teaching. Upon completion of your training, you will receive access to over 600 stories, lessons, and materials to use in your program. These materials are not available for sale.

If you’re a DRE or a Spirit Play teacher who can’t make it to a live training, this class is for you. You just need a computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
